Overview

The U.S. Government Working Group on Electronic Commerce first convened in December 1995. Nineteen months later, in July 1997, the Clinton Administration released A Framework for Global Electronic Commerce.

On November 30, 1998, the Working Group issued its First Annual Report. In December 1999, the Working Group issued its Second Annual Report, titled Toward Digital eQuality.
