Definitions[]

Tradecraft is

the techniques adopted by spies to conceal their activities. They include: assessment; cover and disguise; concealments; clandestine surveillance; and covert communications.[1]
[s]pecialized methods and equipment used in the organization and activity of intelligence organizations, especially techniques and methods for handling communications with agents. Operational practices and skills used in the performance of intelligence related duties.[2]
[t]he combination of tools, techniques and procedures used by cyber adversaries to conduct their activities. These tools, techniques and procedures can be distinct and attributed to these adversaries.[3]
