Definition[]

A technical due diligence service is

[a] person who reviews the technical compliance (with these Guidelines or the rules of any other applicable public key infrastructure) of a number of messages, time-stamps, digital signatures and certificates related to a particular transaction or series of transactions, and documents the results of such review to relying parties in electronic form suitable for deposit on-line in a repository and/or offline in an archival service.[1]
