Definition[]

Under a shared driving concept, Automated vehicles

can drive autonomously in certain operating conditions — e.g., below a particular speed, only on certain kinds of roads, in certain driving conditions — and will revert to traditional, manual driving outside those boundaries or at the request of a human driver.[1]
