That report focuses on how the wireless industry can better work with law enforcement and other groups to cut down on mobile device thefts by making stolen smartphones less useful. Using FBI and other law-enforcement data, the report estimates that more than 10% of thefts and robberies in the U.S. in 2013 were associated with mobile devices.
