Overview[]

The Recreational Software Advisory Council on the Internet (RSACi) is an open, objective content ratings system for the Internet developed by the Recreational Software Advisory Council (RSAC), which is now part of the Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA). The RSACi system provides information on the level of sex, nudity, violence, and offensive (vulgar or hate-motivated) language in software games and websites.

Rating system[]

There are five levels in the RSACi rating system. The following table describes the content allowed for each level. Level 0 is the most restrictive, preventing users from accessing websites that include offensive language, nudity, sex, and violence. Level 4 is the least restrictive, allowing users to access websites that present explicit content.
