Definition[]

A radio frequency (RF) is a frequency in the radio spectrum between 9 kHz and 3,000,000 MHz.

Overview[]

"The radio frequency portion of the electromagnetic spectrum covers not only WiFi transmissions, but also television broadcasts, Bluetooth devices, cordless and cellular phones, garage door openers, avalanche beacons, and wildlife tracking collars."[1]
