A ROM (an acronym for Read-Only Memory) is
“ | [a] computer device containing a program or data permanently stored when the unit was made. In theory, it can apply to either internal memory or large-volume, external data storage. Today, it is applied to the former. Programs stored in ROM cannot changed easily and they execute faster.[1] | ” |
