Overview[]
This document sets forth the Government’s approach to dealing with the various risks and threats facing information systems across the UK. It supports the UK Government National Strategy for Information Assurance which aims to assure Government that risks to the information systems underpinning key public interests are appropriately managed. It outlines why and how the public sector and private sector, as well as individuals, must play a role in protecting the nation's information systems.
