Overview[]
In 2001, the U.S. Department of Labor created the Office of the 21st Century Workforce (21CW) pursuant to Executive Order 13218. The Office’s mission was to provide American workers with the opportunity to equip themselves with the tools necessary to succeed in their careers and in whatever field they choose in this new and dynamic global economy.
