This Memorandum asked federal Departments and agencies that were subject to Year 2000 (Y2K) quarterly reporting requirements to provide OMB with their comprehensive plans and associated funding requirements for achieving Y2K compliance. Departments and agencies that are not subject to Y2K quarterly reporting were asked to submit the requested information if Y2K conversion costs are projected to exceed those assumed in the FY 1999 Budget.
