National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) (formerly the National Cable Television Association) is the principal trade association of the cable industry in the United States. Founded in 1952, NCTA's primary mission is to provide its members with a strong national presence by providing a single, unified voice on issues affecting the cable and telecommunications industry.

NCTA represents cable operators serving more than 90% of the nation’s cable television households and more than 200 cable program networks, as well as equipment suppliers and providers of other services to the cable industry.
