A mobile subscriber (MS), as defined in IEEE 802.16e-2005, is a WiMAX subscriber station capable of moving at vehicular speeds and that supports enhanced power management modes of operation. MS devices typically have a small form factor and are self-powered, e.g., laptops, ultra-mobile portable computers, cellular telephones, or other portable electronic devices.
