Founded in 1983 as the Internet Activities Board, the Internet Architecture Board is a committee of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) that oversees development of Internet standards and protocols. It also acts as a liaison between the Internet Society (ISOC) on technical and procedural matters, and various standards bodies.
