Overview[]

The statute makes it a felony for someone to use any interactive computer service or electronic communication service or system with the intent to kill, injure, harass, intimidate, or place under surveillance with the intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate another person and engage in a course of conduct that places a person in reasonable fear of death or serious bodily injury, or causes, attempts to cause, or would reasonably be expected to cause substantial emotional distress.
