Federal Public Key Infrastructure

Overview

The GSA Federal Public Key Infrastructure (Sept. 2002) uses a technique to authenticate users and data, protect the integrity of transmitted data, and ensure non-repudiation and confidentiality.

It included the federal bridge certification authority and common framework for e-signature compatibility authorized by the Act.
