Overview[]
This Executive Order charged the President's Task Force on Identity Theft with developing a comprehensive strategic plan for steps the federal government can take to combat identity theft, and recommending actions which can be taken by the public and private sectors.
On April 23, 2007 the Task Force submitted its report to the President, titled "Combating Identity Theft: A Strategic Plan."
