Exclusion is

the failure to allow individuals to know about the data that others have about them and to participate in its handling and use. Exclusion reduces accountability on the part of entities that maintain information about people and creates a sense of vulnerability in relation to individuals' ability to control how information about them is collected and used.[1]

General[]

Exclusion means

[i]ntentionally and cruelly excluding someone from an online group, for example, a group of offline friends deciding to ignore a specific individual as a form of punishment.
