Overview[]

The national Electronic Commerce Resource Center (ECRC) program was established to help small businesses with e-commerce and EDI through regional centers located across the United States.[1] The program was terminated on September 30, 2001. Before that date, it was operated by the DLA through the Defense Electronic Business Program Office (DEBPO). DOD’s Chief Information Officer has overall functional responsibility for the Defense Electronic Business Program Office but the office receives its funding and personnel through DLA and the Defense Information Systems Agency.[2]
