Dynamic Network Defense Operations, the key U.S. Cyber Command operational method for defensive cyberspace operations, are those machine-synchronized and other actions that can rapidly detect, analyze, counter and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities to DOD information networks. This line of operation is informed by timely intelligence, threat indicators, vulnerability information, and effects assessment information from the other lines of operation.
