The Directorate for Human Intelligence (DH) of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) conducts worldwide strategic HUMINT collection operations. DH oversees the Defense Attaché System, which conducts representational duties on behalf of the DoD and advises U.S. Ambassadors on military matters.
