Overview[]

The New Zealand Government has integrated online risk and safety responses into this overarching strategy on the digital economy. The strategy coordinates programs that promote New Zealand's economic, technical and social performance in the digital economy. The strategy seeks to reduce online risk by creating a ". . . secure and trusted network and universal understanding of online safety, security and privacy issues."[1]

To achieve this goal the strategy commits the government to a series of actions to:
