The Cyber Safety Pasifika is an initiative developed by the Australian Federal Police's Prevention (Cyber and Child Safety) team and the Pacific Transnational Crime Network (PTCN) in collaboration with the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police (PICP).
Cyber Safety Pasifika has been launched in Niue, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Guam, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Republic of Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, Palau and Tuvalu.
It has trained 40 Pacific Island instructors to deliver cyber safety education in their own countries and mentoring support in other Pacific Island countries. Over 72,000 children and young people in the Pacific have now attended its education and awareness workshops.
