The counterfeit labeling provisions of 18 U.S.C. §2318 prohibit trafficking in counterfeit labels designed to be affixed to movies, music, software, and literary, Pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works and works of visual art as well as trafficking in counterfeit documentation or packaging for such works. Violations are punishable by up to five years' imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.[1]
