The Consortium for Electric Infrastructure to Support a Digital Society (CEIDS) is

“ [a] consortium, headed by EPRI, designed to improve the existing electricity infrastructure and create a new infrastructure that can meet the growing demands of a digital society. The consortium eventually became the EPRI's IntelliGrid Consortium.[1] ”
