Overview[]
The U.S. Federal Government Cloud Computing Advisory Council (CCAC) is a body established at the behest of the Cloud Computing Executive Steering Committee to serve as a collaborative environment for senior IT experts from across the federal government. CCAC members are nominated by their departmental CIOs to serve as representatives to the FCCI PMO and other agencies for best practices dissemination, consensus building for key FCCI initiatives, briefing and approval for various Working Groups under the Council's purview, and sharing of planned or ongoing cloud projects.
CCAC members serve as the primary educator for their respective agencies and departments regarding the progress and status of the FCCI and cloud computing within government in general.
