The FBI established the Carrier Relations Working Group (CRWG) to address law enforcement wiretap issues. It is comprised of members of the Law Enforcement Technical Forum. The CRWG works with providers and federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to minimize the cost of electronic surveillance.
