The Bureau of Cyberspace Security and Emerging Technologies (CSET) was established in January 2021 by the U.S. State Department to address cybersecurity and emerging technologies. The CSET will help lead diplomatic efforts around these topics, including working to prevent cyberconflicts with potentially adversarial nations.
