The Automated Identification Management System (AIMS) is

[a] system that acts as a central web-based informational portal between U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), and the Biometrics Fusion Center (BFC) that is designed to fuse intelligence analysis and value added comments from field users of matched biometric and biographic data.[1]
