Overview[]

The Army Tactical Command and Control System (ATCCS) was to be linked directly to Army Global Command and Control System (AGCCS), providing a framework of seamless connectivity from brigade to corps. ATCCS was the linchpin between AGCCS and Force XXI Battle Command Brigade-and-Below (FBCB2), creating a holistic, seamless integration of battle command from individual platforms to echelons above corps (EAC).

In April 2003 the tilte of the Project Manager for ATCCS was changed to PM Ground Combat Command and Control (GCC2). The name ATCCS is no longer used. It is now included under the Army Battle Command System (ABCS) title.
